Koshin 3" pump

The KOSHIN range of self priming engine pumps are of fully portable design suitable for irrigation, de-watering and general water transfer applications. All models feature open impellers especially suitable for pumping silted waters containing light loadings of suspended solids and are powered by dependable and economical Honda engines, QP pumps being fitted with a carrying handle while SEH models feature a sturdy carrying and protective frame. Also included with all pumps are quick couple hose connectors and a suction strainer. Maximum rated suction lift is 7m at sea level, though this will be reduced at higher altitudes.

The pump body and volute are manufactured from precision die-cast aluminium alloy and impellers are cast iron.

 

ENGINE
All pumps are powered by Honda GX air-cooled four stroke OHV petrol engines and the specification includes a recoil starting system and integral fuel tank.

 

Note that performance curves relate to the engine governor set at maximum speed to achieve maximum rated power output. To prolong engine life pumps should only be run under maximum power conditions for short periods and for extended duty the throttle setting should be reduced to approximately three-quarters power. Pump performance will then be reduced accordingly.
